What I am thankful for ....

I am thankful for waking up each new day and having that day to explore life . I am also thankful for the love this wonderful man gives me every minute of every day

I am doing better

I got out of ICU on sat . My blood pressure is better but not stable . I take it 4 to 5 times a day . I am on 19 pills a day . LOLOL But I am doing good . I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving .

AT the moment I am in ICU at the Farmville Hospital. I went to my heart Dr and my blood pressure was 250/106. So he sent me right over here . Now they are trying to stabilize it with new meds. I hope to go home tomorrow. I will keep you posted .

 It been a while ,I know .  but I am having some health problems of late that need to be dealt with ASAP  . but anyhow . A week after we lost  Buster , we lost Stormy . He got hit by a card and broke his back . Then we lost Tilly and her 2 babies  at birth .  Big Rosy is still hanging in there . She gave birth to a little guy-Twinkies Star but wasn't able to feed him so I am now bottle feeding him and hes doing great. Tulla lou gave birth to a wild little guy . Magic is just the cutest little guy and wild as hell LOLOL. and they both are doing well . its been a hard summer for me . I was sick most of it , but I am on the mend now .   well all for now . thanks for stopping bye

The girls were very photogenic today. LOLOL They seem to want there photo taken . Our new little guy Captain Twinkle Star is a little cutie  and he is doing so well . Mom has stepped up to the plate and is now taking care of him . He has made friends with little Rosebud and my 2 wild puppies Max and Tubbs. Mom is feeling alot better and so is Tilly . She still is very quiet and stay off by herself but I think she is just morning the lost of her babies . She does let the little guy snuggle with her.  And he ,I think ,thinks he has 2 moms LOLOL.  We have had some crazy weather of late . thunder storms nightly lots of rain and   lighting. its been crazy .

Happy news and sad news

Hi everyone , my god its been hot here . I cant wait for summer to end . not have AC is just s bitch to live without . Well i had 2 goats that were ready to have there babies . I brought them together  as a pair . Tilly and Rosy . well Tilly had hers in the middle of the night and I wasn't there . they both died . 2 little boys and so cute . The first one made it out but the second one got stuck  and I ended up pulling him out . Shes not doing very well still and don't know if she will make it or not . Rosy had hers the next day up in the back of the pen in the woods . She also had a little boy -Captain twinkle star-  luckily i was there . he came out 3 feet instead of 2 so I push 1 back and he made it .  It was a hard couple of days for them both . now it looks like Rosy is rejecting the little guy so I will start bottle feeding him .  The heat has been so bad here it doesn't surprise me all this happened .   Our garden is growing great . We have been canning already and today I will do some more . I am feeling better  finally . I now eat gluten free . It  is a pain but worth it . I do feel better.  well all for now . photos in a couple of weeks

I am still here

 Hi everyone , yes i am still here . I have been sick last couple of months with what I think is a gluten allergy. I am waiting on the blood test to find out for sure . This means if it comes back positive that i can not eat wheat, rye, barley  and of those types of grains. I will keep you posted on this . we have been working on the garden non stop and it is growing beautifully . Of course our 100 degree temps are really pushing it . but will have tons of veggies this year . all my babies are doing well . we have 3 that I think are going to have little ones soon . but anyhow all is going good . I hope to post  some photos soon.

Saying goodbye to one of my kitties

I found one of my kitties late yesterday in the goat pen . He was crying and couldnt walk very good . So I brought him up into the small barn and this morning he was dead .   I found him and his brother at our trash dumpsters and brought them home . Both of them have and are the best cats I have ever had . I named them Laural and Hardy. Hardy would sleep on my shoulder at night and purr me to sleep . I will miss him .

 I finally have my car back . Its been a long few months with out it . Hubby finally found himself a car to use to back and worth to work .  So more posting to come .

Here are some photos of my babies . Everyone is doing great and growing fast .  Now that spring is here they are out free ranging during the day . Coyotes around at night , the dogs keep them in the woods at night .  we are working on the vegie garden .Working on making it bigger and getting the soil ready to plant .  Well enjoy the photos and thanks for stopping bye .

Something I want to share....

 When we went to the goat sale in the town next to us . We have been before and there were alway guys there to help unload and move the goats to the pen . that sat they hadnt gotten there yet so hubby and i were given the ladies a hand . this trailer pulled up with 2 buck and had chains around there horns . my eye raised . ..... when they brought them thur to get weigh and tags .they guys who owned them were kicking the shit out out them right in the b----s and laughing saying how do you like that asshole . well one of them looked like my blue who i had sold a few weeks back and I started yelling for hub by and saying to him "Is that BLUE" I was crying and he keep saying" no hes to big" and me" are you sure " .,  but it wasnt him , so when they got the 2 of them tagged they brought them back out to where i was . I was to push them down the ramp to a pen . as i started to do that out of the corner of my eye i saw a FOOT heading right towards my back so i put pout my hand and stopped it .I turned to this old guy and said "Dont kick the animals for christ sakes . whats the matter with you ?" and walked away . i heard he say what what did you say . but i didnt care . at the time i didnt see the other guy standing next to him . when hubby came over i told him what happened and he said the AUCTIONEER was over there  saying " Who the F--- does she think she is . They are my f------ goats and i will do whatever the F--- i want with them . if she wants to treat them better she can f------ buy them !  well i thought that was just so unprofessional that I wont go back there again . its hard enough for me to sell my goats in the first place but to think they might end up there .i wont be going back .I did let the owner know i had seen all that . but she just blew it off as men will be men. that wont cut it with me . It made me just sick . i want to share .

I am still here ....

Hi everyone , sorry I haven't been around . Its baby season here on the farm .daisy has 2 littles ones in jan and they are growing like weeds and so beautiful . Gracie had 1 little guy in feb took care of him 1 day then rejected him . She came down with a hard udder that became mastitis. So we have been treating her and shes doin OK so far . but the little guy" Willy " ended up coming into the house where I have become his mom ,bottle feeding him 5 times a day and dealing with other problems as they came up but he is doing just great. last sat we went to a goat sale and brought 3 more girls . I brought a mom and her 2 little ones . they were in tough shape. very skinny and have  bad lung infections and  worms.  I just don't understand why they don't feed moms . Alice has no milk for her 2 little sweeties .JJ and Milly. So I am bottle feeding them also 4 bottles a day . MOM has enough milk to keep them feed in between .  Then we also brought Ruby and Hannah. Ruby was very skinny also but not as bad as Alice and Hannah is a little butter ball . She came form a good farm "Hever farm " up in Mineral VA. But anyways .Just wanted to let everyone know I am still here . just really busy right now and i don't have a car anymore . So that limits me getting out. Well photos will be coming soon

I would like you to meet Tulip and Benji. They were born on thursday morning . Mom- Daisy and them are doing just great . It is amazing how both of them look like Daisy and Togee(dad)

These are my new little goats . They are dwarf African Pygmys.  They remind me of Hobbits so I named them "Bilbo and Pippin"

I have put Sleety in with them . But you can see the difference in size . They are so cute .
